Empowerment and Storytelling with Textile Revival
Cyntha Sarver, of Textile Revival and I met when I was visiting a friend in Nashville earlier this year. I was fortunate enough to visit her amazing store in the Leiper's Fork area. Cynthia's aethetic when it comes to creating upcycled garments, art and designing the store space really impressed me as well as the individual uniqueness present in each of her garments. Her ability to tell the story behind each piece as well as connect art into the mix was really inspiring for me. I'm really excited to be bringing Cynthia on as my next workshop guest and I think her perspective will be really inspiring!
Cynthia Sarver of Textile Revival talks about the importance of empowerment and how to use storytelling authentically to connect with people. We'll get down to the stuff that can make us give up, talk about knowing your worth, staying focused and positive and surrounding yourself with humans that make you stronger. It can be simplified so you'll never feel like giving up!
